Happy Monday, Academy Village! As we turn the page from February, the air in the domes is buzzing with a different kind of electricity. Welcome to Awards Month. This is our time to look back at the groundbreaking work of the last quarter and honor the most innovative fusions of code and melody.

But don't let the celebrations fool you—the studio lights are burning brighter than ever as we move into one of our most intense operational stretches of the year. Here is your roadmap for March 2026.

 The Headline: March Madness Live Code

Clear your schedules and sharpen your syntax. The March Madness Live Code Competition officially kicks off on March 17th and runs through April 6th. We’re moving beyond traditional performance; expect live-coding music battles and programmatic composition challenges that will redefine what it means to be a "band" in the modern era.


A&R and Production Milestones

Our A&R executives and production teams are operating on a precision clock this month to keep the Muse Logic engine humming:

  • Think Tanks: Tomorrow, March 3rd, is our first Group Promotion Day of the month. We'll be sharing new projects and voting on shared budgets. We’ll reconvene for the strategy course-correction session on March 17th.

  • Blog Pipeline: We are currently in Phase 3 (Editing) for our April 1st post. Simultaneously, we begin Phase 1 (Idea/Research) for the May 1st post on March 10th.

  • Final Logistics: The month wraps on March 31st with our mandatory Monthly Financial Responsibility Check.

 This Month’s Workshop Circuit

For those looking to level up their skills at TAP G Academy or within the community, March is packed with educational deep dives:

  • Mar 3: Trail Design Workshop (3:00 PM)

  • Mar 6: Traveler Marketing Strategy Level 1 (9:00 PM)

  • Mar 10: Intro to Open Source Software (3:00 PM)

  • Mar 13: Intro to Linux (9:00 PM)

  • Mar 15: Intro to Raspberry Pi (2:00 PM)

  • Mar 20: Official LoMaC Orientation (9:00 PM) – Essential for anyone entering the Live Code competition.

🥙 Community Kitchen: Synchronized Flavors

Our Unified Seed Schedule isn't just for music—it’s for the table. To keep us all connected, we have three synchronized weekend feasts scheduled for March:

  • March 7–8: Ceviche – Raw fish, lemon juice, and hot peppers. Sharp and electric.

  • March 15–16: Chili Relleno – A comfort-food encore of poblano chili and cheese.

  • March 28–29: Pupusas – Hand-held percussion for your palate.

In the studio, our creators are following the Unified Design Notes (UDN) to anchor their compositions:

  • Wk 10 (Current): Foundation & Change. Focusing on Borrowed Chords and brief modulations.

  • Wk 11 (Mar 9): Harmony & Expression. Exploring Neo-Riemannian Transformations.

  • Wk 12 (Mar 16): Initiation & Expression. Mastering Phrygian Cadences and Neapolitan chords.

  • Wk 13 (Mar 23): Reflection & Power. Utilizing Vamp and Turnaround Progressions.

On the night of February 4th , while most of Academy Village was winding down, Elias "Echo" Vance —the lead atmospheric architect and guitarist for Peaks and Shadows —was up on Ridge Road testing a custom-built, low-power outdoor transmitter for our upcoming LoMaC collaboration.
