Today marks a massive milestone for us. After months of late-night sessions and "Think Tank" deep dives, we are officially launching the Muse Logic Records blog.

First and foremost, thank you. To the fans, the early listeners, and the brilliant minds over at TAP G Academy—this moment wouldn't be possible without your support. Academy Village has become more than just a location; it’s the heartbeat of a movement. You’ve helped us prove that the music industry can be human again.

Our Mission: Soul in the Machine

We know the conversation around technology in music can be loud, but at Muse Logic, our philosophy is simple: Human-first, AI-assisted. We use these tools to amplify our voices, not replace them. We are here to make music that feels, breathes, and connects, ensuring that the soul of the artist always stays at the center of the groove.

The Roster: New Faces & Old Favorites

The studio is currently a revolving door of talent. We have a wave of fresh bands preparing to drop their debut sounds, but we haven't forgotten our roots. Fans can expect new chapters from the artists who helped us build this foundation:

  • Peaks and Shadows: Bringing that atmospheric, mountain-air depth back to the speakers.

  • Squarely Round: Continuing to defy expectations with their signature geometric rhythms.

  • The Funky Angles: Get ready—their Funk House fusion is about to redefine your Friday nights.

Partnership Spotlight: LoMaC

We are incredibly excited to announce our official partnership with LoMaC (The League of Music and Code). Together, we are launching a series of competitions that bridge the gap between musicians and developers. From live-coding music battles to programmatic composition challenges, these events are designed for our bands and fans to push the boundaries of what a "performance" can be.

What’s on the Horizon?

The Q1 calendar is packed. We have a string of live showcases coming to local venues, and the first March Madness Live Code competition is just around the corner.

This is just the beginning. We’re starting over, and we’re doing it together.

  The Incident on the Ridge: A Peaks and Shadows Exclusive Date: March 1st, 2026 Category: Nightlife / The Band's Perspective Location: Academy Village, CA We’ve been sitting on this news for a few weeks to let the dust (and smoke) settle, but it’s finally time to share what went down behind the scenes in early February. On the night of February 4th , while most of Academy Village was winding down, Elias "Echo" Vance —the lead atmospheric architect and guitarist for Peaks and Shadows —was up on Ridge Road testing a custom-built, low-power outdoor transmitter for our upcoming LoMaC collaboration. If you were in the Nevada City or Ridge Road area that night, you might have heard a localized "boom" or seen the flashes that the local blotters reported as an explosion.
